Typically 2–3 weeks, though this can extend to 4 weeks during busier periods. If you have a specific deadline in mind, feel free to let me know – I will do my best to accommodate you.

My workshop is located at 41 Rose Street Richmond (Naarm/Melbourne) and I’m in workshop 3A. It's a 5–10 minute walk from Burnley Station if you're coming by public transport. If you're driving, there’s parking available directly outside the workshop and nearby in the area.
-
If you need a quicker turnaround, please get in touch – I’ll do my best to accommodate you. As rush jobs require overtime, a 50% surcharge applies. Since I’m a one-person team, acceptance will depend on the scope of the project and my current workload, but don’t hesitate to reach out.

I don’t have a set price list, as all of my frames are custom made to suit the specific artwork you bring in. There are many variables, such as the materials and framing style, that can affect the final cost. Please feel free to get in touch via the contact page if you’d like a quote.

I try to be as mindful as possible when sourcing materials and building my picture frames. Each frame is approached with care and intention – using responsibly forested, locally sourced timber from small-scale suppliers, and buying materials in small batches to reduce excess and ensure nothing goes to waste.
My frames are built to last, with the intention that they’ll stay with you for a lifetime.
When you collect your frame, it’s often wrapped in bubble wrap to protect it during transport – please consider reusing it, or feel free to return it to me so I can reuse it. You're also very welcome to bring clean blankets or clothing if you’d prefer a plastic-free option.
-
Yes, absolutely – I can build a frame that will help preserve your special piece for a lifetime. I offer a range of conservation and museum-grade materials designed to protect and support the longevity of sentimental or valuable works.
-
Yes, definitely! You're very welcome to post your artwork to me – just be sure to use registered post and package it carefully to avoid any risk of bending or damage in transit. If you'd like a quote for return shipping, feel free to reach out. You're also welcome to arrange return shipping yourself if you prefer.

Yes, I work with a number of trusted art couriers and can certainly provide a quote if you need one. Just let me know the details, and I’ll be happy to help arrange it.
-
I don’t offer in-house printing or mounting services, but I work with a number of wonderful businesses who do! I’m happy to recommend someone, or help organise the printing/mounting on your behalf, depending on your needs.
-
When transporting your frame, please handle it with care. Avoid leaving it in your car or in areas with extreme temperatures, and remove it from the bubble wrap as soon as possible.
Hang your frame in a spot away from direct sunlight, steam, or moisture to prevent damage over time.
To clean the glass, use a lint-free cloth (microber is best). For stubborn marks, lightly spray ammonia-free glass cleaner onto the cloth (not directly on the glass) and wipe clean.

I’m passionate about supporting artists and understand how important it is to keep exhibition costs manageable. While I’m a small business with limits on how much I can discount, I’m always happy to explore ways to make things more accessible – whether that’s by offering straightforward framing options, flexible payment plans, or, in some cases, sponsorship arrangements.
If your exhibition is supporting a charity, I’d love to hear more – I’m always open to seeing how I can help in a way that’s sustainable for me too.

After your consultation, I will provide you with a quote and request a 30% deposit before starting the work. Once your frame is finished, I will send you an invoice for the outstanding balance along with my bank details. Payment terms are 7 days, and your prompt payment is greatly appreciated. I can accept card payments as well – please note there is a 2.5% surcharge for all card transactions.
Please note that all invoices must be paid in full before your order leaves the workshop, unless otherwise agreed upon in advance. -
The workshop is open every day except Sunday. You can find my regular and special opening hours on my Google profile, or by clicking on ‘Book a Consultation’ where all my available times are listed. Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are preferred to ensure a comfortable visit and to give me time to prepare – making sure the tables are cleared and ready for your consultation!
